Best Time to Go: June to October (Dry season for best wildlife viewing) and December to February.
- Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda – Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, transfer to your lodge for overnight.
Day 2: To Murchison Falls National Park – Travel to the park, with an afternoon hike to the top of the dramatic Murchison Falls.
Day 3: Game Drive & Nile Cruise – Morning game drive in the delta and an afternoon boat safari to the base of the Falls.
Day 4: To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Scenic drive south through the Albertine Rift, arriving at your lodge in the evening.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking – The ultimate highlight! A guided trek through the dense forest to spend a magical and unforgettable hour with a habituated mountain gorilla family.
Day 6: Transfer to Tanzania – Fly from Kisoro (Uganda) to Kilimanjaro International Airport (Tanzania), transfer to Arusha for overnight.
Day 7: Tarangire National Park – Game drives among ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds.
Day 8-9: Serengeti National Park – Two full days of extensive game drives across the vast Serengeti plains, with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro on a clear day. Overnight inside the park.
Day 10: Serengeti to Ngorongoro – Morning game drive in the Serengeti, afternoon transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater Tour – Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in this world-renowned, wildlife-rich caldera.
Day 12: Lake Manyara & Departure – Morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, then transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international flight.

- How fit do I need to be for gorilla trekking?
Trekking is strenuous, involving steep, muddy terrain at high altitude (2,500m+). A good level of fitness is required, and hiring a porter is highly recommended.
- What is the best time to see the Great Migration?
The migration is a year-round cycle. The Serengeti portion of this trip offers great wildlife viewing anytime, with the river crossings typically between July and October.
- Are children allowed on this safari?
Most lodges welcome children, but there is a strict age limit of 15 years for gorilla trekking.
- What should I pack?
Neutral-colored clothing, broken-in hiking boots, rain jacket, daypack, binoculars, camera, and universal power adapters.
